  • 'education, job training, health services, work and housing for its members';
  • 'management of affairs upon [member's] own lands';
  • the encouragement of members 'to keep and renew their traditional culture';
  • 'participat[ion] with other Aboriginal Associations in projects for their mutual benefit';
  • the receipt and spending of 'grants of money from the Government of the Commonwealth or of the State or from other sources';
  • the establishment and operation 'a radio broadcasting station by and for Aboriginal people of the Kununurra region.' (ORAC Website, 1998)
