The Midwest Employment and Economic Development Aborignal Corporation was registered on 31 March 2005. According to the Corporations Constitution, the objects for which it was establish include:

  • 'to support the social development of its members in all ways;
  • to help to bring about the self-support of its members by the development of economic projects and industries;
  • to support education, job training, health services, work and housing for its members;
  • to help and encourage its members to manage their affairs upon their own lands;
  • to help and encourage its members to keep and renew their traditional culture;
  • to help to build trust between its members and other people
  • to participate with other Aboriginal Associations in projects for their mutual benefit; and
  • to receive and spend grant of money from the Governments of the Commonwealth and the state or from other sources.'
